Abstract

The increase in stroke patients in Indonesia from year to year has caused the death rate to soar. Limited progress data for stroke patients is an obstacle in monitoring the development of therapy on an ongoing basis. To overcome this problem, this research developed a hand grip measurement system for stroke patients with cloud-based storage that is integrated with Google Spreadsheet, enabling practical and unlimited data storage. This system uses the ESP32 module which supports the Internet of Things (IoT), equipped with an RFID-RC522 module which functions as a patient identity data reader via E-KTP, so that data access becomes more efficient and structured. Data from hand grip measurements can be viewed directly on the LCD screen, and saved automatically in Google Spreadsheets which can be accessed by doctors and the patient's family. The percentage of error resulting from the hand grip strength of 10 stroke patients was 1.09%.
