Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of sustainable character education at the Hidayatullah Jember Integral School. Character education is the main vision in Islamic education, character is important before knowledge. Strengthening character education is oriented towards developing students' potential as a whole through habituation over time in everyday life. This research is a type of qualitative research with an exploratory descriptive design. This research shows that the implementation of Sustainable Character Education at the Hidayatullah Jember Integral School must go through system or concept standardization, application at all levels according to the concept, implementing innovation as an attraction, the realization of sustainable education is felt by increasing public interest and trust, evaluation must be carried out to make improvements . So a sustainable character education system was realized or what could be called a one pipe system.
