Abstract

Early childhood education (ECED) is crucial for human development, fostering basic skills, understanding concepts, and shaping mindsets. The government's ECD standards emphasize holistic, integrative, and innovative approaches. The Merdeka curriculum focuses on 21st-century skills through student-centered learning, a scientific approach, and the application of the 4Cs: creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. ECD teachers need pedagogical competencies to manage learner learning, with creativity and innovation being key. This research aims to describe the implementation of flipped classroom-based learning in Philippine Audiovisual Arts (PAUD) and analyze its learning flow. The Flipped Classroom model is expected to positively impact learning, increase efficiency, and support independent learning. The role of parents in supporting the learning process at home is a major factor in learner participation. Although its use is minimal in PAUD, this research proposes a Flipped Classroom-based learning design, introducing novelty in learning management in PAUD institutions.
