This research aims to examine performance improvement through competency, job placement and work motivation at the Delta Tirta Sidoarjo regional government company, where this research uses quantitative methods with a sample of 222 employees, sampling using simple random sampling. According to the research results, it was found that: competency influences employee performance, work placement does not influence employee performance, and work motivation influences employee performance.
