Abstract

This research aims to find out how the principle of standard clauses is applied in smart contracts on vyndao based on the vexanium blockchain, given the nature of standard clauses that are made unilaterally, this phenomenon is the main focus of research to protect consumers from abuse of circumstances on the blockchain. In accordance with the research objectives, a statutory approach was used in the research technique along with literature sourced from lens.org and Google Scholar databases. According to the research findings, Vyndao should consider the principles of covenant when adding standard terms into smart contracts to create a fair covenant. It was found that Vyndao did not provide explicit information on the terms of the agreement due to the lack of clear information related which resulted in the agreement being null and void.
