Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer chicken eggshells and onion skins on the growth and yield of Basil plants which were carried out from May to June 2023, using RBD with POC Concentration Treatment of 4 levels, namely: without POC, 100, 200, 300, 400 ml/L and repeated 3 times. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, stem diameter, consumption weight and wet weight. Data were analyzed using ANOVA to carry out further tests with Tukey. The results showed that the concentration of POC treatment had a significant effect on the number of leaves, stem diameter, consumption weight and had a very significant effect on fresh weight and had no significant effect on plant height and number of branches. Treatment of POC concentration of chicken eggshell and onion skin 200 ml/L produced the best consumption weight.
