Implementasi Kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

Education in Indonesia has consistently deteriorated over the past 15 years. The government has taken various strategic steps to overcome this problem, one of which is through socialization of the urgency of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. However, ironically, until now there are still many Islamic educational institutions that have not implemented the Independent Curriculum policy. This study aims to determine how the implementation process of the Merdeka Curriculum policy at Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo Elementary School and Muhammadiyah 9 Ngaban Elementary School has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum well. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the use of data analysis techniques popularized by Milles and Hubberman. Data collection was carried out through observation, documentation techniques and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it is known that Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo Elementary School and Muhammadiyah 9 Ngaban Elementary School have implemented the Merdeka Curriculum well.
