This study was motivated by the phenomenon of parents raising children with special needs, ranging from the need for ongoing therapy and communication barriers to high emotional and social demands. These conditions often lead to psychological stress, emotional exhaustion, and even feelings of inadequacy in fulfilling their parental roles optimally. This study employed a quantitative method with a sample of 25 parents and teachers of children with special needs at SLB Aisyiyah Porong, who were administered pre- and post-tests to measure self-efficacy enhancement. The analysis results indicate that after participating in the parenting program, there was a significant change in the care of children with special needs through the enhancement of self-efficacy. These findings suggest that becoming resilient parents can be achieved by strengthening self-efficacy through parenting to optimize child-rearing.
