Slurry seal is a pavement preservation method used to repair road surface damage using a mixture of fine aggregates, emulsified asphalt, water, filler, and additives. This study aims to compare the effects of Additive A and Additive B on slurry seal characteristics based on setting time and consistency parameters. The research was conducted using laboratory experiments at PT Triasindomix Sidoarjo, utilizing CQS-1h emulsified asphalt and three water content variations: 9%, 12%, and 15%. The results indicate that a water content of 12% yielded the optimal mixture condition. Consistency values were 2.00 cm for Additive A and 2.25 cm for Additive B; both met the 2–3 cm specification. The recorded setting times were 105 minutes 20 seconds for Additive A and 105 minutes 49 seconds for Additive B. A discrepancy exists between the numerical data and the narrative regarding which additive sets faster, necessitating data verification prior to publication.
