Abstract

Load-lifting hoist machines are widely used in industrial settings and are typically driven by three-phase electric motors. These motors rely heavily on a stable voltage supply. disturbances such as phase loss and voltage imbalance can lead to performance degradation or even motor damage. This research aims to design an Arduino- based automatic protection system to detect such disturbances in real-time. The system utilizes PZEM modules as voltage sensors for each phase. Upon detecting a fault, the system cuts off the power supply using a relay. The resulting design is expected to enhance the safety and operational reliability of hoist machines in industrial environments.
