Electronic Medical Records are increasingly used to support outpatient services, but evidence on their effect during early implementation in regional hospitals remains limited. This study aimed to determine the effect of EMR on outpatient service effectiveness at H.L. Manambai Abdul Kadir Hospital Sumbawa Besar. A quantitative cross-sectional design was used with 97 health workers, including doctors, midwives, nurses, and medical record officers. Saturated sampling was applied. Data were collected using a five-point Likert questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression after normality and linearity testing. The results showed that EMR and outpatient service effectiveness were in the good category, with mean scores of 60.47 and 59.77. EMR had a positive and significant effect on outpatient service effectiveness, with a regression coefficient of 0.789, t = 11.776, and p < 0.001. The coefficient of determination was 0.593, indicating that EMR explained 59.3% of the variation in outpatient service effectiveness.
