Design and Development of a Web-Based School Attendance Information System Using the Waterfall Method: A Case Study of SMK Angkasa Mojosari

SMK Angkasa Mojosari still relies on manual attendance recording, causing delayed reporting, difficult monitoring, and frequent data loss. This study designs and builds a web-based scholl attendance information system using the Waterfall method, bulid with PHP, MySQL, and the Laravel framework, based on interviews and observations with teachers and administrative staff. Black Box Testing showed that all 10 system features functioned as expected with no errors, while User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving 15 respondents produced an average score 4,72 out of 5,00 (94.3%) categorized as Very Good. The system proved able to overcome the limitations of manual recording and provide an intergrated attendance solution for SMK Angkasa Mojosari.
