Abstract

Abstract

The warehouse department plays an important role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials from receiving and storing to distribution. Initial observations at PT. XYZ showed that warehouse activities were handled by only two operators, resulting in a high workload. This study aims to analyze operator workload using Work Sampling and NASA-TLX methods. The study was conducted from January to June 2026 involving two warehouse operators. Data were obtained through direct observation, interviews, questionnaires, company documents, and literature studies. The results showed that the first operator had 92.11% productivity and a standard time of 4.70 minutes/unit, while the second had 77.77% productivity and 3.03 minutes/unit. NASA-TLX scores were 84.67 and 75.00, respectively, indicating high mental workload. The company is recommended to evaluate task distribution and consider adding one or two operators.
