Abstract

The company has not yet determined preventive maintenance intervals based on component reliability analysis. This study evaluates the optimal preventive maintenance interval for the Top Sealing machine using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM II) method. Critical components were identified through Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), followed by reliability analysis using TTF, TTR, MTTF, and MTTR. The results indicate that the heater bar is the most critical component with the highest RPN, and the optimal preventive maintenance interval is 179.20 hours (approximately 25 working days), helping reduce failure risk and machine downtime.
