Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between self-esteem and social support with subjective well-being among students at Vocational High School X in Pasuruan Regency. This study employed a quantitative correlational method with a sample of 251 students selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The instruments used included the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), the Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale (MSPSS), as well as the SWLS and PANAS to measure subjective well-being. The results of the analysis indicate that self-esteem and social support have a positive and significant relationship with subjective well-being. The conclusion of this study indicates that self-esteem and social support play an important role in enhancing subjective well-being among vocational high school students, particularly when both develop adaptively and in balance in daily life.
