Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder that may affect hemostasis through chronic hyperglycemia, which contributes to platelet activation and coagulation disturbances. This study aimed to analyze differences in platelet count, Prothrombin Time (PT), and Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (APTT) between DM and non-DM patients. An observational cross-sectional study was conducted on 100 respondents (50 DM and 50 non-DM) at Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital, East Java Province. Platelet count was measured using the Sysmex XN-3000 analyzer, while PT and APTT were measured using the Sysmex CN-3000. Data were analyzed using Independent Sample t-test and Mann–Whitney U test. Results showed that mean platelet count, PT, and APTT were higher in the DM group compared to the non-DM group. However, there were no statistically significant differences in platelet count (p=0.138), PT (p=0.394), or APTT (p=0.258). In conclusion, there are no significant differences in hemostasis parameters between DM and non-DM patients.
