Abstract

Clean water quality must meet established standards to ensure a stable water treatment process. This study aims to determine the CL, UCL, and LCL values, identify the causes of process instability, and propose improvement recommendations. The research applied Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using turbidity data from November 2025, consisting of 720 observations. Process stability was evaluated using X̄ and R control charts, while the causes of instability were analyzed using a fishbone diagram. The X̄ chart produced CL, UCL, and LCL values of 0.34, 0.39, and 0.29, while the R chart showed 0.29, 0.45, and 0.13. The results indicated that the process was not statistically under control. Recommended improvements include strengthening SOP compliance, routine equipment maintenance, optimizing coagulant dosage, monitoring raw water quality, and regular instrument calibration.
