Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by chronic hyperglycemia that can lead to pancreatic β-cell damage due to oxidative stress. Red ginger (Zingiber officinale Roxb. var. rubrum) and coriander seeds (Coriandrum sativum L.) contain antioxidant compounds that may protect pancreatic tissue from oxidative injury. This study aimed to analyze the effects of red ginger extract, coriander seed extract, and their combination on the pancreatic histopathological features of alloxan-induced male white rats (Rattus norvegicus). An experimental study was conducted using ten male white rats divided into five groups: negative control, positive control, red ginger extract treatment (800 mg/kg body weight), coriander seed extract treatment (800 mg/kg body weight), and a combination of red ginger and coriander.......
