Abstract

This qualitative study examines teacher and student perceptions of Wayground for English learning assessment in Sidoarjo. Guided by the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), it reveals that Wayground yields a highly positive impact. The platform enhances student motivation, engagement, and participation through interactive gamification features. Students find it reduces assessment stress and improves material comprehension, while the teacher benefits from automated grading and real-time reports that streamline classroom management. Furthermore, its web-based access makes it practical and easily accessible without installations. Despite challenges from unstable internet connections, Wayground serves as an innovative and effective digital assessment tool for English language teaching.
