This study aims to determine the effect of hydraulic pressure settings in the pan handle installation process on product defect rates. An experimental approach was employed using three hydraulic pressure variations: 245 psi, 275 psi, and 300 psi. Each pressure level was tested on a number of samples, and observations were conducted to identify the types and frequencies of defects that occurred. The collected data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to evaluate the effect of hydraulic pressure on product quality. The results indicate that variations in hydraulic pressure have a significant effect on defect rates. Pressure settings of 245 psi and 300 psi resulted in relatively high defect rates of 30% and 48%, respectively, while the 275 psi setting produced the lowest defect rate of only 5%. Therefore, a hydraulic pressure of 275 psi can be considered the optimal condition for improving product quality and minimizing defects.
