Abstract

In the industrial sector, selecting the appropriate material composition is an important factor in producing products that are not only high in quality but also environmentally friendly. One material that continues to be developed and widely studied is composite material, especially polymer composites reinforced with natural fibers. These composites are considered a promising alternative to synthetic materials because they offer several advantages, including lightweight characteristics, renewable resources, biodegradability, and relatively low production costs. Composite materials are formed from a combination of two or more materials with different physical and chemical properties in order to produce a new material with better performance compared to each individual component. Various natural fibers can be used as reinforcement in polymer composites, such as hemp fiber, kenaf fiber, and coconut fiber.
