Science Process Skills (SPS) are competencies in scientific thinking, yet students’ national achievement levels remain.study aims to analyze the achievement profiles of third-grade elementary school students’ SPS indicators through the implementation of Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) on the topic of the five senses. study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design involving 22 students Muhammadiyah 1 & 2 Taman Elementary Schools. were collected through SPS tests, documentation,interviews, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model and validated through triangulation of techniques and sources. The results indicate that IBL is effective in improving basic science process skills, particularly the ability to observe and formulate hypotheses. However, integrated process skills such as planning experiments, communicating results, and asking questions remain at a moderate level. These findings suggest that students are still at the guided inquiry stage, thus requiring teacher scaffolding and stimulation to support the transition toward more independent inquiry.
