An initial survey was conducted on 30 tenth-grade students at SMKN 1 Beji aged 15–16 years using a learning motivation scale distributed through Google Forms. The findings showed that 13.3% of students had low learning motivation, while 86.7% had moderate motivation and none showed high motivation. The lowest motivation aspects were drive (21.50%), need (25.79%), and purpose (28.41%). This study aimed to examine the relationship between academic stress and learning motivation among students at SMKN 1 Beji. The research used a quantitative correlational design involving 279 students. Data were collected using an academic stress scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.99 and a learning motivation scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.913. Data analysis employed Pearson’s product-moment correlation test. The results indicated a significant correlation between academic stress and learning motivation (r = 0.195), showing that academic stress is related to students’ learning motivation.
