The Influence of Financial Literacy and Digital Financial Recording on the Financial Resilience of MSMEs with Intellectual Capital as a Mediating Variable

This study examines the influence of financial literacy and digital financial record-keeping on the financial resilience of culinary MSMEs in Sidoarjo, with intellectual capital as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach and SEM-PLS analysis on data from 30 MSME owners, the study found that financial literacy and digital financial record-keeping do not directly affect financial resilience. However, both variables significantly improve intellectual capital, which in turn has a significant positive effect on MSME financial resilience. The findings also show that intellectual capital fully mediates the relationship between financial literacy, digital financial record-keeping, and financial resilience. Therefore, MSME financial resilience is strongly influenced by the ability of business owners to manage knowledge, work systems, and intellectual resources effectively.
