PT. Indoceria Plastic (ICP) is a manufacturing company that produces cast polypropylene (CPP) film plastic and faces the problem of high product defect rates that have the potential to reduce quality and customer trust. This study aims to identify the dominant types of defects, analyze the causes, and provide improvement suggestions using Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and Six Sigma methods with DMAIC stages. The results showed that from a total production of 1,655 rolls, there were 393 defective rolls, with crease defects as the most dominant at 32%, followed by particle and gauge band. The control chart showed that the process was still within control limits, but not optimal, with an average DPMO value of 82,055.148 and a sigma level of 2.911. Fishbone analysis identified the main causes originating from human, machine, method, and material factors. Improvement suggestions focused on improving operator competency, machine maintenance, standardization of SOPs.
