This article aims to examine cross-cultural communication that occurs in the Suko market in Sidoarjo regarding traders and buyers of different ethnicities, races, religions and cultures, the majority of traders and buyers in the Suko market are Javanese, Madurese and Chindo. (thionghoa) therefore communication is needed so that they can interact smoothly so that misunderstandings do not occur between traders and buyers. Because the Role of Cross-Cultural Communication is needed in communicating, interacting and socializing in human activities, one of which is buying and selling activities in the Suko Sidoarjo market , especially if the seller and the buyer have different ethnicities, races, religions and cultures, it is urgently needed to offer merchandise or services to be sold/sold and the buyer also needs cross-cultural communication to be able to understand the language used by the buyer so that he can understand each other and establish friendships between fellow living things.
