Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of nanoemulsion of Ageratum conyzoides extract and Trichoderma sp. biofertilizer on the growth, health, and yield of chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.). The experiment was conducted from December 2025 to March 2026 in Sidoarjo using a factorial Randomized Block Design with two factors and six replications. Observed parameters included vegetative growth, disease intensity, flowering time, and yield components. The results showed no interaction between nanoemulsion and biofertilizer treatments across all observed parameters. The nanoemulsion of A. conyzoides extract significantly increased plant height at 14 days after planting, reduced basal stem rot disease intensity, accelerated flowering, and improved the number and weight of fruits. Meanwhile, Trichoderma sp. biofertilizer significantly affected plant height at 21 days after planting, leaf number, stem diameter, disease suppression, earlier flowering, and yield improvement.
