Abstract

This study examines the influence of Work-Life Balance and Locus of Control on Turnover Intention through Organizational Commitment at Mazda Adityawarman Surabaya. Using a quantitative approach, the study involved all 100 employees as respondents through total sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) version 4.0. The findings show that Work-Life Balance and Locus of Control have a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment. However, both variables do not significantly affect Turnover Intention. In addition, Organizational Commitment does not have a significant effect on Turnover Intention. The mediation analysis reveals that Organizational Commitment does not mediate the relationship between Work-Life Balance and Turnover Intention, nor between Locus of Control and Turnover Intention. These results indicate that although Work-Life Balance and Locus of Control can enhance employees’ commitment to the organization, they are not sufficient to reduce employees’ intention to leave the company.
