Brazed joints between aluminum and copper are widely used in milk pasteurization units due to their important role in heat transfer systems, requiring strong and pressure-resistant joints. This study aims to analyze the effect of filler variation on the strength of brazed joints between aluminum and copper. The method used is an experimental approach with filler variations of Al–Si, Al–Si–Mg, Al–Zn, Cu–P, Cu–P + Ag, and Ag-based, while process parameters were kept constant. The tests conducted include hydrostatic and tensile tests to evaluate joint quality. The results show that filler type significantly affects strength and ductility. Ag-based filler produced the highest UTS value of 198.6 MPa with 11.8% elongation, followed by Cu–P + Ag at 166.8 MPa, while Al–Zn showed the lowest value of 102.3 MPa. These differences are influenced by wettability, diffusion capability, and intermetallic phase formation. Silver-based filler is recommended as it provides stronger and more reliable joints.
