Design and Build An Early Warning System for Health Conditions in Climbers Based on Fuzzy Logic

The rising popularity of mountain climbing among various age groups is often not balanced by adequate attention to physiological and environmental conditions, leading to increased accident risks. This study develops an integrated monitoring system that combines physiological factors (oxygen saturation and heart rate) with environmental air pressure using a 27 rule fuzzy logic framework. Technical evaluations demonstrate high sensor accuracy, reaching 98.21% for SpO2, 98.01% for heart rate, and 99.10% for air pressure. To ensure safety, the system triggers an automatic alarm when air pressure drops below 750 hPa. Testing confirms that the fuzzy logic effectively determines a climber's health status, transitioning from "Normal" at low altitudes to "Alert" as pressure decreases, and finally "Danger" in extreme conditions. This proves the system’s reliability as a crucial early warning tool for enhancing climber safety and minimizing high-altitude risks.
