The milling machine plays a critical role in the sugar production process at Sugar Factory X, as it directly affects operational continuity. Although downtime during June-August 2025 was relatively low, frequent breakdowns posed risks to production stability. This study aims to determine the most appropriate maintenance strategy by integrating Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and engineering economics analysis. Historical failure data were analyzed to obtain reliability, failure rate, MTBF, and MTTR, which served as the basis for identifying suitable maintenance actions. The RCM results indicated that bearings and rollers are the most critical components affecting machine performance. Economic evaluation showed that an age-based replacement strategy for bearings is feasible, with a Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) of 1.37 and a Rate of Return (ROR) of 37%. Meanwhile, preventive replacement for rollers was not economically viable due to insufficient benefits compared to costs.
