Abstract

Writing is a crucial skill in Arabic language learning and is often considered the most difficult skill for students to  master. Learning that still relies on conventional methods such as lectures and copying exercises leads to low student motivation. Therefore, innovative learning media are needed to increase student motivation in Arabic writing. This study aims to determine the implementation process, obstacles, and impact of the use of the interactive media Froggy Jump on students' motivation to write in Arabic.

This study used a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were teachers and seventh-grade students at SMP Al-Mahira IIBS Malang. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of the game-based learning media Froggy Jump.
