Abstract

The number of motorcycles in Indonesia continues to increase, indicating the ease of mobility of the community. However, with this increase comes several problems, including motorcycle theft (curanmor) and lack of user awareness of the need for routine motorcycle maintenance, including oil changes. This study aims to design and develop a smart motorcycle that combines oil change notifications via IoT with E-KTP-based security. This system uses an ESP32 microcontroller, an RC522 RFID as a user ID, a Neo-6M Ublox GPS for GPS tracking, and an A3144 hall effect sensor for distance measurement. The collected data is sent to Google Spreadsheet using Google Apps Script and can be controlled through a google spreadsheet application. The methodology used is Research and Development (RnD). This system is able to improve the level of motorcycle security and maintenance to a satisfactory level.
