Abstract

Industrial development requires the use of efficient lifting and transportation equipment, one of which is the forklift.
This study aims to design a 5-ton capacity forklift and analyze machine maintenance planning using several
maintenance methods, namely preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), predictive maintenance
(Prec.M), and reliability centered maintenance (RCM). The forklift design process was carried out using SolidWorks
software to produce the design of the main components such as the fork, frame, and wheel system that are capable of
supporting loads up to 5 tons and meeting operational requirements in industrial environments.
