Abstract

This study aims to identify critical components in the hoist machine, determine the Risk Priority Number value, and formulate recommendations for appropriate maintenance strategies. This study uses the Reliability Centered Maintenance  II approach to analyze the level of reliability of machine components and determine the appropriate maintenance strategy. The results of the analysis show that the shaft component in the trolley system is the most critical component with an RPN value of 270. In addition, an MTTF value of 390,420 hours and an MTTR of 3,00469 hours with an availability value of 99.24%, which shows a very high level of machine operation readiness. The recommended maintenance strategy is Condition-Based Maintenance through vibration, temperature, and inspection of the physical condition of components.
