Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of goat manure and NPK fertilizer on plant growth and yield. The experiment used a factorial design with two factors: goat manure (10,15, and 20 tons/ha) and NPK fertilizer (150,200, and 250 kg/ha). Observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, stem diameter, number of flowers, number of fruits, fruit weight per plant, and harvest index. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by the honestly significant difference tukey test at the 5% level. The result showed no interaction between goat manure and NPK fertilizer on all observed parameters. goat manure application did not significantly affect plant growth and yield. In contrast, NPK fertilizer significantly influenced several growth and yield components, particularly fruit weight and number of fruits per plant. The application of NPK at 200 kg/ha produced the best result in improving plant productivity.
