Abstract

The development of the business world in Indonesia shows an increase from year to year. PT.XYZ has made significant contributions and plays a strategic role in supporting the development of the industry, including prestressed concrete pile products. When facing a high rate of defective products exceeding the standard set by the company, namely 0.25%, this research aims to control process quality using Seven Tools and Six Sigma with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach to reduce the defect rate. Research data was obtained from the production period of January to June 2025 with a total production of 20,638 units and a total of 75 defective units. The results of this study showed that the highest defects were found in pile products, namely the pile shoe, amounting to 21 units. The root cause of the problems with these clunky shoes is influenced by several factors from humans, methods, machines.
