Abstract

Conflicting consumer views regarding the durability and price appropriateness of E-brand women’s handbags reflect variations in perceived value that may influence satisfaction. This study examines the effects of product quality and price on perceived value and their impact on consumer satisfaction. A quantitative method using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was applied. Data were obtained from 90 female E-brand handbag users at the Pasuruan Store through purposive sampling. The findings show that product quality significantly affects perceived value (β = 0.588; t = 6.456), as does price (β = 0.399; t = 5.769). Perceived value also significantly mediates the relationship between product quality and price on consumer satisfaction (β = 0.871; t = 25.249). The model accounts for 85.3% of the variance in perceived value (R² = 0.853) and 71.2% of consumer satisfaction (R² = 0.712).
