Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes (PPROM) is a major cause of preterm birth and increases the risk of neonatal infection, particularly when the interval between membrane rupture and delivery is prolonged. This study aimed to examine the relationship between the PPROM interval and neonatal infection. A quantitative cross-sectional design was used involving 157 mothers with PPROM (June 2024–June 2025) using total sampling. Data were analyzed with the Chi-Square test (α = 0.05). Results showed a significant relationship between PPROM interval and neonatal infection (p ≤ 0.05). An interval ≥ 24 hours increases the risk of neonatal infection.
