Abstract

Machine performance measurement is necessary to determine operational effectiveness and identify sources of losses that affect productivity. This study aims to calculate the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value and identify the dominant factors causing the low effectiveness of the  (HPP) using a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach. The research was conducted from February to October 2025 through OEE calculation, Six Big Losses analysis, and Ishikawa diagram analysis. The results show that the average OEE value was 59%, which is still below the ideal standard of 85%, with the lowest component being availability at 77%. The Six Big Losses analysis indicates that the most dominant loss originated from equipment failure with an average of 22%, mainly caused by liquid leakage in the machine system.Thus, the low OEE value was primarily caused by high equipment failure, which reduced availability. Therefore,consistent implementation of TPM is required to improve machine reliability and overall effectiveness.
