Arabic language learning requires innovative approaches so students move beyond memorization toward deep understanding through the application of deep learning within the Merdeka Curriculum. This study examines the implementation of deep learning in Arabic language instruction and identifies factors influencing the learning process. The research was conducted at SMPIT Utsman bin Affan Tulangan Sidoarjo using a descriptive qualitative design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with key informants, participatory classroom observations, and document analysis. Data analysis followed the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing based on the Miles and Huberman model. The findings show that deep learning supports educators in presenting materials more contextual, flexible, and adaptive to students’ needs. This approach increases learners’ motivation and improves comprehension of vocabulary, grammatical structures, and Arabic language skills. Overall, implementing deep learning within the Arabic curriculum demonstrates strong potential as an innovative approach aligned with technological advances and contemporary educational demands
