Abstract

 School principal leadership plays a strategic role in improving teacher professionalism as a determinant of education quality. This study aims to analyze the role of school principal leadership and leadership indicators in improving teacher professionalism at SMPN 2 Jabon. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The results of the study indicate that principal leadership contributes significantly through continuous competency development, systematic coaching and motivation, and comprehensive performance evaluation. Adaptive and integrative leadership creates a conducive work climate that supports the
improvement of teacher professionalism and education quality.
