Abstract

Entrepreneurship education has become a national urgency to equip students with 21st-century skills, yet its implementation is often hindered by overly theoretical approaches. This descriptive qualitative study aims to analyze curriculum management, instructional processes, and challenges in implementing the entrepreneurship program at SMP Al-Islam Krian, Sidoarjo. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the school manages the program as an independent local content subject, employing a differentiated education model by dividing students into five business groups. The learning process predominantly utilizes Project-Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with Islamic business ethics. However, significant obstacles remain, including parents' rigid academic-centric orientations and the need for enhanced teacher professionalism. The study concludes that optimizing entrepreneurship programs requires strong synergy between schools and parents, alongside continuous professional development for teachers to ensure practical and sustainable implementation.
